2nd Mising Sports Carnival: A Celebration of Youth Talent and Athletic Spirit

The 2nd Mising Sports Carnival, held from November 28th to December 1st at Gogamukh, was a grand spectacle of sportsmanship and enthusiasm. Over 60,000 young athletes from village, regional, and district levels participated, showcasing their skills and dedication in 13 sporting disciplines.

Key Highlights:

• 2,500 athletes qualified for the Central-Level Grand Mising Olympics
• Medals, certificates, and cash prizes awarded to winners
• Dhemaji District Committee emerged as Champion, while Majuli District Committee secured Runner-up position

A Milestone Event:

The Mising Sports Carnival has become a cornerstone for promoting sportsmanship, unity, and youth empowerment within the Mising community. Building on the success of the previous event, this carnival continues to inspire and nurture young talent, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.
